Kapok: the Tree between the Land and Sky 2
Kapok tree is the tree of life for Piuma tribe who lives in the mountains of Taiwan. The tribe sees Kapok trees as people and their ancestors rather than just the resources that provide opportunities. This series explores the abstract expressionism of Kapok. The various elements modeled in 3D applications were deconstructed and mixed with hand-drawn artforms, such as lines, shapes and textures.
